Delivery Truck Driver

Based in Adelaide

We are looking for a casual truck delivery driver to join our other lawn chauffeurs, delivering instant lawn all over Adelaide.

The Turf Farm is a family-owned business which has earned a reputation in providing professional, high quality customer service and products. Servicing a large range of customers, from homeowners to landscapers and commercial, we market, grow, harvest and deliver lawn to South Australians.

Your Role:

You will work from our depot in Green Fields with our other lawn chauffeurs, to ensure that customers get their lawn delivered on time to their door. You will be working with a medium rigid truck and Moffatt forklift that will solely be yours to use unless required to be used by a backup team member. Our truck is an automatic vehicle and is very clean and tidy in the cab.

We are seeking a proactive, self-motivated driver with extensive experience driving a medium truck. Your experience will preferably include residential deliveries within suburbs of Adelaide.

What you’ll need:

A current South Australian HR license with a clean driving record
Experience delivering products to both residential and commercial sites.
Forklift ticket
Moffett experience preferred but not essential.
Excellent attitude and attention to detail.
Excellent customer service skills
Willingness to regularly clean and keep their truck & forklift maintained
Non-smoker

Initially, this position offers casual work with the potential to lead into full time work. Work hours generally fall between 6.00am – 3.00pm, Tuesday to Saturday.

The position is based in the Adelaide region and offers a great way to see the countryside as well as deliveries are typically performed daily from the Barossa and Adelaide hills to through the northern, central, and southern suburbs.

Lawn Consultant

Based in Pinnaroo

We are looking for an enthusiastic customer service professional to join our office team in Pinnaroo, South Australia.

The Turf Farm is a family-owned business which has earned a reputation in providing professional, high quality customer service and products. Servicing a large range of customers, from homeowners to landscapers and commercial, we market, grow, harvest and deliver lawn to South Australians.

Your Role:

You will be a part of our sales team that are the experts to go to for all things turf! You will advise customers on which turf variety is perfect for their lifestyle by helping them choose from our four varieties of turf: Sir Walter DNA Certified and TifTuf Bermuda, Eureka Kikuyu or RTF Tall Fescue, ensuring they get the best lawn possible. As a Sales Superstar you will help our customers grow their lawn dreams by guiding them through the process of turf selection, delivery, and installation. You’ll sell not just turf, but the entire lawn experience. You will also work alongside our logistics and production team to ensure your customers’ orders are delivered and installed on time, every time. Teamwork makes the dream work!

What you’ll need:

Sales experience (in any field) with a passion for helping people. You don’t need to be a turf expert to start, just a passion to learn and grow.
Strong communication skills – You’ll be speaking with customers, suppliers, and team members daily, so a friendly and approachable attitude is key.
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
Organisational skills to manage quotes, orders, and customer follow-ups efficiently.
Experience using office and google suite programs
Bonus points if you know your way around CRM systems & Xero (we use them to keep track of our turf-loving customers!).
