Sir Walter Lawn DNA Certified Logo

Sir Walter Buffalo is our premium lawn variety. Over 60 million metres have been sold Australia wide, making it Australia’s favourite lawn. Sir Walter was bred specifically for the tough Australian environment and is the perfect choice for any home. Great in the sun and the shade, Sir Walter will add that special finishing touch to your garden design.

TifTuf Logo

TifTuf Bermuda is the product of almost 25-years of research and development from one of the world’s leading turf-grass breeders. It’s a sterile hybrid warm-season Bermuda grass that spreads by above-ground runners (stolons) and below ground rhizomes to form a lush-green turf.

RTF-fescue-logo-md-trans

RTF Tall Fescue is a lush and shade tolerant lawn. Requires more water than other drought tolerant varieties, however RTF is the only true rhizomous Tall Fescue that can self repair. It likes heavier soil and best suited to cooler climate areas, such as the South East and Adelaide Hills. Lush and luxurious looking.

Nullarbor Couch Grass logo md trans

Nullarbor Couch is a fine leafed Couch and is a warm season grass. It is tough and durable and looks best when mown short.  Nullarbor couch is not suited to heavy shade, preferring 6-7 hours of sun per day.  If grown in full sun, couch is extremely hard wearing and will tolerate traffic. Couch has a high wear tolerance and an excellent ability to recuperate quickly. However, Couch requires higher maintenance to keep your lawn looking its best, with more regular mowing and fertilizing.

Recommended for both residential and commercial applications.

Eureka-Kikuyu-md-trans

Eureka Premium Kikuyu is perfect for those larger projects. Kikuyu premium has quick self-repairing qualities. Eureka is a premium lawn that has a bigger list of attributes than ordinary male sterile or dwarf Kikuyu’s. As it has a better rhizomous base, it is fast repairing and stays green longer than other Kikuyu varieties. Best suited for large areas, such as sports fields or commercial projects. It can also be used in residential situations. Note: As Kikuyu was brought to Australia as a fast growing cattle food, ALL Kikuyu lawn varieties are fast spreading and invasive by nature.

Which lawn needs less mowing?

For every 15 times a Kikuyu lawn requires mowing:

  • Couch grass will need to be mowed 11 times in the same period
  • Buffalo grass will need to be mowed 7.25 times in the same period
